What is a wedding venue tour?

So recently we have been receiving more and more requests for wedding tours either in Guatemala or any location the couple wants to get married in.

At first we were unsure of what this was all about but after a few wedding tours we understand the importance of having this BEFORE your wedding.

What exactly is a wedding venue tour?

It’s a trip that the couple decide to make to the desire location where they want to have their wedding. They usually come with parents, siblings or someone form the bridal party.

Is it really necessary to have one?

Definitely YES! Specially if you are unsure about your wedding location. It is going to be a super easy way to make a decision weather you want to have your wedding at that location or not.

Yes it means a cost - air tickets, transportation, accommodations, food, etc but believe me, it’s will be less expensive than deciding on a location, make down-payments and finally decide that you do not want to get married there.

Benefits of having a wedding venue tour before making a final decision:

  1. Quality Time Together: Amidst the hectic schedules of wedding planning, a pre-wedding trip provides an opportunity for the couple to unwind, relax, and enjoy uninterrupted time together. It's a chance to focus on their relationship and celebrate their upcoming planning process.

  2. Venue Selection: The couple visits potential venues for the wedding ceremony and reception to evaluate the suitability of each location based on their preferences, budget, and logistical considerations.

  3. Vendor Meetings: They meet with various vendors such as caterers, photographers, florists, and decorators to finalize arrangements and make decisions about services and products.

How long does a wedding venue tour take?

Since you are traveling from your hometown all the way to your desired destination we do them for at least 2 full days.
